"Gritty social realism meets classic western ... [a] confident, gripping, highly charged debut." – Hollywood Reporter

Pink-haired teenage rebel Laila has fled her tyrannical Pakistani father Tariq to live with Scottish boyfriend Aaron deep in the moors of Yorkshire. Together the young lovers begin to eke out a new existence, but for a man like Tariq honour is everything, and he will stop at nothing to ensure that his honour is restored.

Breathtakingly shot by cinematographer Robbie Ryan (Wuthering Heights, MIFF 2012), Catch Me Daddy is the startlingly realised feature film debut from cult music video director Daniel Wolfe. Evoking the sharp-eyed social commentary of Ken Loach and charged with nail-biting action sensibilities, Catch Me Daddy is a neo-western for the blasted plains of Yorkshire, where menace looms in the fog banks and even those you most trust will turn on you for a price.

"A director with enormous promise, one who could join the likes of Wheatley, Arnold and Peter Strickland in this new wave of British directors." – The Playlist
