Cannot make it to Melbourne for MIFF09 and live down Geelong/Bellarine way? Fear not for MIFF will be operating a satellite festival near you!From Friday 31st July - Sunday 2nd August at GPAC (Geelong Performing Arts Centre), some of the best flicks from MIFF will be screened. There will be special guests and an opening night gala, so keep checking back to THIS PAGE for further information as it is released.

Patrons can now help MIFF to be green by opting in to the 20cent Voluntary Environmental Levy when purchasing tickets or passes for MIFF 09. MIFF aims to raise $2,000 in order to carry out an audit and assess environmental efficiency opportunities and to make a contribution towards offsetting carbon emissions generated from the MIFF office and the festival. The MIFF 2009 Mini-mag is available now to DOWNLOAD (pdf file,6MB)! Printed versions are being posted to our database this week and they will also be distributed through Avant Card from 1 June, so look out for their wonderful postcard stands at participating cafes, bars & restaurants in Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide.
