MIFF shorts screens at the Ford Fiesta Moonlight Cinema on 18 January

MELBOURNE – “With the proposed changes to funding for short films in the air, it’s a good time to show your show your support for short films and short film makers“ said MIFF Executive Director, Richard Moore. What better venue than in Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens?  

Pack a picnic and head down to Royal Botanic Gardens to experience MIFF under the stars.  The Ford Fiesta Moonlight Cinema is screening a selection of the best of Australian and international MIFF shorts on Sunday, 18 January 2009. The program includes the City of Melbourne Grand Prix for Best Short Film, Dennis and David Michod’s I Love Sarah Jane – a teenage romance with a zombie twist.

Shot on two rolls of film and starring one of Belgiums’s leading rappers this bizarre  excursion through the Flemish countryside is a musical and humorous feast. That’s if you’ve got a bizarre sense of humour of course.
