A Lucia

Austria, 2001 (MIFF 2002, Experimental)

Director: Julia Anna Lazarus

Fusing the sublime and the anarchic, through images of mountain ranges and an inexplicable road accident, this film's slow motion and grainy images concentrate the senses. A crackling soundtrack supports themes of emptiness and 'anxiety in the ptesence of irreversibility'.
